Two chance to discover important archaeological sites, from the Etruscan to the Middle Ages period, walking in the nature.

The 5th of July the trekking will start from Castiglioncello sul Trinoro, a small village hidden in the hills above Sarteano. From the remains of the Middle Ages castle, we will reach the Etruscan necropolis of Poggio Rotondo, Solaia and Molin Canale. Departure time at 9,00 a.m. from Sant'Andrea square in Castiglioncello sul Trinoro.
Itinerary of 8 km.

The 19th of July trekking will start from Sarteano Camping area and will lead you discovering the spring waters of Sarteano, the ancient mills and the Roman baths.
Departure time at 9,30 a.m. from the Parco delle Piscine Camping in Sarteano.
Itinerary of 5 km.

And after each trekking why not relaxing in the thermal waters of the Theia Pools in Chianciano Terme. The pools are also known as "Etruscan baths": in fact Theia was the name of Selene's mother, the mythological Etruscan goddes of the moon.

This is our proposal:
